Orchestra Manager

Bay Youth is seeking an Orchestra Manager for the 2008 - 2009 Season.

This position requires weekly rehearsal attendance at Monday evening rehearsals September through May

from 5:00 PM to 9:30PM.

Rehearsal duties include:

Supervise and insure set-up for 4 rehearsing ensembles

Distribute Schedules and Itineraries

Take and maintain attendance rosters

Collect forms and payments

Coordinate with volunteers to ensure required help is available for seating auditions, etc.

5 hours of additional work during the week would include:

picking up mail or printing

contacting students with excess absences

Attending Staff meetings (Quarterly)

Salary is estimated at $10.00 per hour for 10 hours a week. But is subject to

adjustment depending on responsibilities.
